I first bought this white noise machine back in 2020 when I was living in a house with multiple people and constant noise. I was barely sleeping — every sound would wake me up. This completely changed that. It has been replaced only once with the same exact unit.Fast forward years later, I’ve moved, my life has changed, but this is still something I use every single night without fail.The biggest moment that proved how much I rely on this was when I was hospitalized after spinal surgery. Such a cute sound machine. It has great sound quality, is easy to setup and charge, and is very pathetically pleasing.

Absolutely love this product. We got it for our daughter and have been using it for almost a year now with no issues. Love the sound selection that it has and the light is perfect to keep on at night for diaper changes and late night feeds without disturbing anyone. We also got the portable machine for travel and it works like a charm.

I purchased this for myself because I tried one at a hotel once and was impressed by the quality. I haven't used it personally as of yet because it just came in today, but I can testify that it works on my dogs! Lol. They went right to sleep when I played the lullaby. I'm glad I caught it at a reduced price!

I absolutely love it, the sound is clear and the range of volume is good, the lights perfect for night time feedings. The lullabys on here are actually soothing and not to loud, has a decent range of sounds to choose from aswell! Perfect size if we need to travel it will fit in my purse easily.I plan on doing an update to my review in a few months to see how well it does over time.

I moved into a semi completed community AND I sleep during the day due to my work schedule. NOT having a sound machine wasn't an option due to all the ongoing construction. I previously bought a pretty all black and shiny sound machine that was another brand, which was also cheaper at $19.99, but that one only lasted about two months before it just wouldn't turn on. I've had the DreamEgg for about four months now and I'm glad I purchased it. I paid $29.99. I turn this sucker on high and sleep through literal jack hammering right outside my window. The volume options are nice and varied. I don't think it's as pretty as my last one, but it ended up fitting with my decor and IT WORKS. I'm sure the waves on the beach or heavy rain modes would be lovely if I ever needed them, but I find the loud AC sound fits my needs most. The machine has a very easy common sense set up, and I can see myself using it from time to time even after the construction ends. Great purchase! Again, I'm glad I bought it.

I loooove this sound machine! Someone got me a spa lullaby sound machine but it was horrible. This has tons of high quality sounds. I bought to use for my newborn for sleep. If you think a sound machine is silly you’re wrong... babies are used to a vacuum cleaner like noise in the womb for 9 months, so this naturally is soothing to them. Also has perfect night light for feedings.Tip:-If using for a baby, I recommend download a decibel app and making sure your using the sound machine at 72-80 decibels. This is a level that doesn’t damage baby’s ears and is a similar volume of the womb. Trust me, getting extra sleep is well worth’s the cost of this sound machine.-I like the fan and ocean sound for sleep and nature/lullaby sounds for day/playtime.

This is a great sound machine for the price! We’ve used it for close to a year now EVERY night/day and have had no issues. We use the white noise feature and the nightlight on it. The volume gets plenty loud and doesn’t shut off which is key for a baby sound machine. It does have a timer if needed but we’ve never used that feature. The nightlight is the perfect glow for nighttime diaper changes but when I go in the room to nurse the baby I’ll sometimes throw a burp rag over the light to make it even dimmer. Zero complaints on this machine, it does it’s job and it does it well. Highly recommend as a more cost effective continuous sound machine with great volume and nightlight feature thats easy to click on and off even when you are half asleep. I can literally turn it on and off with my eyes closed now.

Bought this to help my 18mo sleep. It's cooler, so we've had to turn off his fan, which has caused him to have trouble sleeping (combined with an 18 month sleep regression and a change in my own work schedule.)It may be too early to tell, but this is our third night with it, and the third night in a row where my little monster had dropped right off to sleep (compared to the 90 minutes it took the night I ordered this to be overnighted to me!)Controls are super simple, enough that my son already knows how to turn it on himself. Sound quality is great, and volume range is unbelievable! I'm not sure which sound it is we love (might be womb sounds?) but my husband and I agreed as soon as we heard it that we may need to get one for ourselves!This was an impulse purchase in hopes of getting rest for all of us, but I'm thrilled I hit the button.

Update 3/14/20: I contacted the company regarding the product malfunctioning and they were eager to assist me. I’m going to boost this product back to 5 stars due to the commitment the company has to its product! I highly recommend this item once again.Update: I’ve had this for 8 months now and we use it every day. It now makes a high pitch noise and it’s horrible! I loved loved loved it before this though. I wish it would’ve lasted at least a year though. Went from 5 stars to 3.Original: I’ve used many different sources for sound machines. Spotify soundtracks, YouTube through my phone, and YouTube through my Xbox. All of those I would have to find the right video or track and make sure it would loop. On top of that I would have to worry about the light that those sources would project. I also burnt out my Xbox by playing videos throughout the night.This machine right here hits everything you want! It has tons of tracks that you can pick. It loops almost seamlessly. I also love the night light feature. It’s the perfect amount of brightness for me to see my newborn. The Description said there’s enough light for reading, but it would be a strain.The volume on this baby is great too. I was surprised how loud this little machine can get. The sound is so crisp too! It reminds me of the Bose speakers in one of my previous cars.I also love the size of it. It’s around the size of a grapefruit. It fits perfectly on my nightstand.I bought this originally for my newborn, but I’m keeping it for me!!! I will be giving these out for future baby showers.

I’ve been using battery powered sound machines for my son since he was born, he loves white noise. Unfortunately they kept running out of battery at the worst moments and way too often. I ordered the Dream Egg because I needed something that plugged into the wall and wouldn’t die on me.I’ve had it for less than 12 hours and I’m in love!! The sound can really fill the room if you want it to, it also has a headphone jack which could be useful if you want to hear it and your partner/roommate doesn’t. The sound options are great and sound clear. The timer is extremely convenient and such a life saver. The nightlight on it is a great added bonus.I’ve already used it for nap time and bed time with my son. It puts him right to sleep and helps him stay asleep. I would order this for every expecting parent I know. If something ever happens to this one I’ll order it again and again. This is the #1 best thing I have ever ordered from Amazon!!

This noise machine works as advertised. It's really nice that there aren't any detectable splice points in the noise. The variety of fan/motor, nature/melodic, and white/pink/brown noise provide plenty of options. The design of the unit is clean and pleasant, even my mother-in-law liked the look of it, so that's a win! The pulsing white ring light is cool, the solid white light makes a good night light, but it's nice the ring light can be completely disabled. It would have been nice if the buttons were backlit when the light was on, but after a few nights it's easy to remember which buttons you want, especially since when you turn it on it remembers the settings from the previous use. It also remembers which setting on each of the three noise type buttons you last used, so you can instantly switch between your favorite fan, nature, or white noise sounds with one button press. My sister was excited for the possibility that since it uses a USB connector on the power supply that we could also use it with a USB battery brick or phone charger adapter in the car. I'll have to update this review after we give that a try. There is plenty of volume range from quiet to much louder than i would need. The sleep timer works as expected. I didn't try the headphone jack, but I'd imagine it would be convenient if you wanted to drown out really loud sounds or didn't want to disturb a roommate. This sound machine is absolutely fantastic to help me sleep!!! I use the white noise for night time and doze off in about 5 minutes and don’t wake up at all until my alarm clock goes off at 6:30am. I feel so refreshed as I toss and turn infrequently after using this machine and when I do wake up, I fall asleep right away as the white noise aids in the process. It has other great sounds - love the one with the forest and birds - so realistic and clear. The night light also is a big plus as I don’t need a separate night light in case I need to use the restroom in the middle of the night.Very easily to setup, solidly built, smooth rubberized top for feel, easy button press and non-sliding base.I have recommended this product to friends and family who have also bought it for themselves and the kids room (volume can adjust to low for kids) and also find it if tremendous value to their sleeping habits.

Now on my 3rd boy who is in the low percentile for sleep, we have become desperate to find a way to make him comfortable enough to sleep long periods of time without having to be right next to someone. After hearing about how great Sound Machines can be for infants (as well as knowing how I sleep better with any type of noise), I started looking into different sound machines and what features they'd have for a reasonable cost. I constantly found myself coming back to this one from Dreamegg and eventually knew I had to get it.So far we've loved it. I love the variety of sounds depending on who is using it to fall asleep or what kind of a moos we are in. I love that I can set a timer if I don't want it to run all night. And I love that it's easily portable so we can take it to grandmas when she is watching the kids too. My only complaint is that the light does not change colors or have any different options other than the yellow/white glow. We'd prefer a different color variety. Otherwise I love everything this little gadget has to offer. My son has been sleeping a little better and I have definitely been sleeping sooooo much better myself!

My wife works nights and it's difficult for her to sleep due to outside noises. We bought this Dreamegg white noise machine because we have an older version of theirs and love it, so we wanted to add a second to the other side of the bedroom for maximum coverage. She's tried actual fans, which just make her cold, and other white noise fans that take a lot more power and aren't loud enough. She's tried another brand of white noise machine that was louder, but as the volume went up, the sound quality went down. The Dreamegg doesn't have that problem. It gets EXTREMELY loud. It is loud enough to drown out barking dogs, traffic, everything but gunshots I suspect. The volume is variable, so it can also be quiet if that's more your preference. See my video for volume range on my preferred white noise sound. There are buttons on the top for power, volume, night light, and the different sound categories. Pressing the sound category again goes through the various sounds available. There are different kinds of fans to choose from and different white noises. There are also babbling brooks, lullaby, forest, and others, but the white noise is my and my wife's favorite. The machine has a timer that you can set so it will turn off after a set number of minutes, or you can set it to stay on until you turn it off. The unit remembers your settings so you don't have to reset the timer, volume, sound effect, and nightlight settings every time you turn it on.Speaking of the nightlight, it is the only flaw I found in this product. The nightlight has three settings: off, on, and pulsating. The pulse goes from bright to dim, so the device is capable of dimming, but when the nightlight is just "on", it is very bright. It would be great for a child who is afraid of the dark, but for us who just want enough light to avoid bumping into furniture during the night, it is too bright. It's a minor flaw though, and the only one I found in the product. It's also the rare product that is USB-powered and actually comes with a USB AC adapter!Overall, I would recommend this white noise machine to everyone. I have had this sound machine for 3 years and it is still going strong! It’s the perfect night light, not too bright but bright enough, and the white noises are the best! The longevity is the number one reason I love it so much. I don’t have to ever stress about it unexpectedly not working one day and wonder how my kids will sleep that night lol. Also if your kids have a big room this things gets LOUD so there’s that too!
