I love this alarm clock! I read so many reviews and debated on going with the bigger name brand and more expensive one, but so glad I didn’t. I use this every night. Even my husband who has never liked a sound machine asks me to turn the brown noise on every night!

I’ve been using the Dream Egg for the past few days, and overall I’m really impressed—especially for the price. I was very tempted to get the Hatch, but the price point felt kind of ridiculous for an alarm clock, especially considering I’ve been using my phone for years and I’m a hardcore snoozer.First off, it’s really visually appealing. It’s cute, minimal, and doesn’t look clunky on my nightstand. The app interface is also easy to use, which I appreciate. You can preview exactly how the light and sounds will look and play before they go off, which makes setting it up way less overwhelming.It has routines similar to the Hatch, like a nighttime routine that automatically starts to help you wind down. It’s not quite as customizable—there aren’t as many options—but you’re also not paying nearly $200 or paying for an app subscription, so I think that’s a fair tradeoff.In terms of functionality, I’ve found it really easy to use overall. One thing I noticed right away is that as soon as the light turns on in the morning, I wake up almost immediately, which is huge for me. I had birds chirping as my wake-up sound, and for some reason today it switched to a melody, which was… not my favorite. That might honestly be user error while I’m still figuring everything out, but it’s worth mentioning.Other than that small hiccup, I really like it. I think the Dream Egg is a solid Hatch dupe and a great option if you want similar features without the high price tag. For what you pay, you still get a lot of functionality, and it feels like a smart upgrade from using your phone as an alarm.

The Dreamegg Sunrise Sound Alarm Clock is a great all-in-one wake-up light and sound machine. The gradual sunrise lighting and soothing nature sounds make waking up gentle and refreshing. It’s easy to use, has adjustable brightness and volume, and doubles as a nightlight with relaxing sleep sounds. While the light isn’t as bright as high-end models and only offers one alarm setting, it’s an excellent choice for improving sleep and morning routines.

Did not come with a proper manual. And has not worked. It keeps faulting out. Have reached out about the errors and they just keep saying video the issue. If this was purchased in a shop I would be able to just return or get a replacement. Here I've had it for a few weeks and the phone scheduling plays up or the lights come on but goes off a minute later or comes on snoozes a minute later then doesn't play for 20mins and then starts up again for only one minute . It's doing my head in.

Given the price and features, this is an excellent alarm clock.Before purchasing, I had a question about whether it supports NTP time synchronization, maintains the correct time automatically, and adjusts for daylight saving time. Vicky from the support team responded promptly and explained that it supports those features. While I haven't owned the clock long enough to verify the daylight saving time adjustment myself, it has kept accurate time so far, and I'm optimistic it will work as described.The light features, including the sunrise wake-up function, work very well. The phone app is also incredibly useful. One thing to note is that alarms can only be configured through the app after connecting the clock to Wi-Fi. For me, that's actually an advantage. Configuring alarms on a phone is far more convenient and flexible than using the controls on a traditional alarm clock. For example, you can create multiple alarms with different times and choose exactly which days of the week each one repeats.My only complaint is that the clock display is too bright at night. I wish it included automatic brightness scheduling, allowing users to define daytime and nighttime hours and set different display brightness levels for each. We've settled on setting the display brightness to 3%, which makes it tolerable at night while remaining dim but still readable during the day.Despite that one limitation, I would still recommend this clock. Overall, it's a great value, offers an impressive feature set, and I'm glad I purchased it.

Llevo un tiempo usando este reloj despertador de DreamEgg y sinceramente me ha sorprendido bastante. Lo primero que me gustó fue el diseño, porque se ve moderno, elegante y combina súper bien con cualquier cuarto sin parecer un reloj aburrido. La luz tipo amanecer hace una gran diferencia al despertarse, especialmente para quienes no disfrutan levantarse con alarmas fuertes de golpe. La transición de luz es suave y mucho más agradable para comenzar el día.También me gusta que se puede controlar desde el teléfono, lo cual lo hace muy práctico. El sonido es relajante y el ambiente que crea en la habitación ayuda muchísimo para dormir mejor y despertarse con más calma. Se siente como uno de esos productos que realmente aportan comodidad diaria y no solo decoración.Si tuviera que mejorar algo, me gustaría que el brillo máximo fuera un poco más intenso para personas que duermen muy profundamente o habitaciones más grandes. Pero fuera de eso, me parece un producto excelente y muy bien pensado. Definitivamente lo recomendaría para cualquiera que quiera mejorar su rutina de sueño y despertar de una manera más tranquila y natural.

So far 10/10 I’ve had it for a week and i love how i could just set my alarm for the week in advance you don’t have to worry about toggling on and off. As a night shift worker i love the sound System and the sunrise features, it’s great for my off days when i need to switch back to days. Definitely worth the price i almost spent money on the other brand that cost almost $200. Just heads up you do need WiFi connectivity.

Purchased as a gift for a family member. They report being very pleased with the quality and features. Appearance is subtle in evening mode. And they really like the sunrise feature of graduated light as the alarm time approaches - especially useful for wintertime early mornings when it is still dark outside. I imagine it would work well for shift workers as well.

This is actually a great product especially for the price! I’ve had mine for a few months and it wakes me up every morning, I was snoozing my phone alarm and it was making me late!! But this actually works. If you want one but don’t want to spend a million $$$ this is your product!

Nice clock. The only downfall I would say is the clock display at the lowest light is still very bright. I wish it would’ve been able to change the color from the white light to a red light for the display.

Love that I wake up in such a better mood with the settings of natural sunlight slowly getting brighter and natural bird chirps! So much better than waking up to wanting to throw my phone at the wall. I can leave my phone in another room, completely disconnect and rely on the preset alarms I have set to go off. I also love the evening settings with the brown noise that helps me sleep much deeper.

Wakes me up real good and is loud

I love my twins Hatch Rest for all the programmability (less for me to think about/do among the chaos) but I absolutely could not bring myself to spend such an insane amount on the Restore. This is a really great wallet friendly alternative to have a programmable routine experience for bedtime and morning. The sound quality is amazing, light options galore, and you can program so many different alarms and routines. I personally think that are too many buttons and when I snooze idk which I’m even hitting lol, but it’s perfect for someone who wouldn’t want to need the use the app for everything. I also LOVE that you can turn the clock face down to 0 brightness bc I prefer to sleep in pitch black. I’ve had it a few days and love it so far. Still getting the hang of it, but so glad I didn’t spend double the price on the other product.

Easy to use. It has lost connection with the app once and didn't go off. Also wish the button on top for snooze was more pronounced.
