I love this sleeping machine and so glad I purchased this over the Hatch. It has many options for sounds and lighting. You can also dim the lights to your liking. My husband and I are already using it to go to sleep before the baby gets here, and we sleep so good! The app is really easy to install and use. I love that I can turn it on when I’m not home or near the machine, but what I love most is I can use it without the app too. You can still turn it on and by manually clicking the buttons. I currently also use it to set my alarm to wake up that’s programmed in the app. So far so good! And it is really cute.

BUY IT!!! I’ve used Hatch before as a nanny and now that I’m having a baby I just didn’t want to have to pay for a subscription, so I did some research and found Dreamegg. I absolutely LOVE IT! The app has all the features you can imagine and doesn’t require a subscription, multiple sounds, songs, volume control, size is great as well, different light modes and you can also control it just by using the buttons on the sound machine. Super easy and wayyy more affordable. It also looks very cute! 10/10 for sure!

I absolutely love this night light/sound machine. We also have a Hatch but this light beats that one. I love the app and all of the different sounds to choose from. I love being able to have the customer preset options to click on quickly for night time feeds! 10/10 recommend!!

Maybe I’m just overly excited. But WOW! So many options. The app is great. Love the sounds it has, SO MANY choices! It’s our first night let’s see how it goes. But I’m so happy right now. I had the hatch for 3 years but gave it away thinking my almost 4 year old didn’t need white noise or a night light. Put the Hatch in the wrong bag and it went in the black garbage bag not the donation bag. Long story short love The Dreamegg!

We have had the Dream Egg for about 2 weeks now and we love it. I got it as a cheaper alternative to the Hatch Rest+, which we also have, and it’s great. It is super easy to set up. You can set routines, control it remotely and there’s a TON of different sound options and colors. The overall quality is very very similar to the Hatch. One detail that differs is that this has to be connected to a power source while the Hatch has an internal battery where you could carry it as a nightlight or it can keep going in the event of a power outage. This does not have that option, but we so far have not minded. I would say the sleep quality is equivalent to other sound machines. My newborn sleeps great and we are currently only using this one for naptimes in her bedroom since she still sleeps in our room. The light is very bright and the sound can go pretty loud as well. I really like that this has the buttons on top and the sides that allow you to easily adjust things and choose other sound options versus the Hatch where you have to use the app unless your just adjusting sound volume or light level. I don’t usually write reviews, but this one has impressed me so much, I had to brag on it. The app also allowed you to connect it to an Alexa or Google home product so you can control it that way, which is not a function that the Hatch has, that I know of. Overall, SO worth it for the relatively low cost!!

I love it! It has a great variety of nature sounds, melodies, shushing, womb sounds, as well as white, pink & brown noise. The light feature is also nice, you can dim it or make it as bright as you’d like and it also gives you the option to choose from different colors. The time feature is a plus perfect for night feedings or if you have kids in school. It has alarm, timer & child lock settings as well and the sound quality is amazing!

Love it! Got it for my 5 year old daughter and it helps her go to sleep faster

This night light doubles as a sound machine and is so nice to have in baby girl’s room. I like to keep a little soft light on overnight to help me see during diaper changes without having to turn the overhead lights on. The sound machine options are great, ranging from white noise to music to sounds of nature. I like that you can control the machine on your phone but it also has buttons on the top that you can quickly use as well. This is a necessity for any nursery room!

This is a great gift for any age. It’s super easy to set up with the app and has a ton of customizations for color, sound, light level, and routines. You can choose a nice assortment of gentle melodies, nature sounds, ambient sounds such as airplane, ceiling fan, shushing, or womb sounds. It can also be used as an alarm, using light and/or sound. Great for gently getting a child (or adult) used to waking up on a schedule.

The only drawback is that it uses its own app, as it isn’t detected by my home automation device or vice versa. Its app is compatible with other devices from this brand, however. Still, that isn’t really a drawback. You can also control it manually with the buttons on top even if you’re offline. Because it links to your phone with Bluetooth it sets itself and is travel friendly.

Great product! It's already been super helpful for my toddler at bedtime. Also, I may have to get another one for my teenager because he likes the app capabilities, alarm, and sound machine part of it.
Bedtime is easier because my toddler wants to pick the noise and color. It has numerous sounds, songs, and colors to choose from. I love that you can control the volume, of course, but also control the brightness of the nightlight feature. I like a more dim, low light, so this is perfect.
It functions as a clock and alarm also, which is great. I like the small, compact design. It looks like a very high quality product as well.
It's great that it doesn't require the app or wifi to work. You do have to sync it with wifi initially to get the correct time to display. I highly recommend especially if you can get it for a good price. I gave it four stars because it is on the pricey side.

I have the original sound machine from this brand so I knew this was going to be just as good. It is actually 1000% better! The lighting has so many color options and two variations (fast and slow fade) for the rainbow color setting. The sounds are also more tailored for a nursery (there is a lot of variety for everyone though) and they are very high quality with a lot of layers. You can also control the settings with your phone via the app and through that you can also adjust the time and alarm clock settings. I cannot express enough how much I love this and I highly recommend it!

I decided to get this for my youngest daughter because we already have a hatch rest, I would say this is pretty comparable considering the price. It doesn’t have as many sounds to choose from and it does not have a user library where you can download new content to it But if you’re looking for a sound machine that has insurmountable color options this will work great for you the time on it is clear. The sounds are true to what they say they are. The colors are vivid, and you can customize the brightness. You can customize the sound volume. You can make your own favorite list all around. This is a great product for the price and we will definitely get good use out of this for my daughter.

My three month old fell in love as soon as I turned this on! Great range of sounds, colours and my favourite part is the volume control. Bub has started self soothing at night and witching hour has more than halved. Love this product, wish we bought it sooner

Worked with my toddler on day 1. Granted she is a smart cookie 😊Usually she stands at her door and yells for us around 4:30am. Now, at 6:46, we heard her yell “it’s orange!!!”We are thinking she was sitting up in bed staring at it waiting for it to change color. Lol

Love that I get to sleep past 6am. And the routine it has created for our household!

Great sound machine/night light. Wish the sound could go just a little bit lower at the lowest setting. Customer service is wonderful as we had a issue and they resolved quickly!

Works well but sometimes the time unsyncs and had to be reset.

I had the hatch and this one and this one is by far my favorite. I sent my hatch back and got 2 of these! I couldn’t love it more. I have one in my room and I can turn it on and off from my phone!

I had a hatch since my daughter was born to help her sleep (it has also helped me). Recently though my Hatch's cord broke and wasn't able to repair it. I tried finding the same one I had but it has been discontinued, i guess. I liked the Hatch Rest because you didn't have to set the volume to high in order to hear the our favorite sound (beach waves). I did some research and saw a few reviews from other customers saying that this product was similar to the Hatch Rest. It has not disappointed. I still miss my Hatch L0L. I like how it does have different sound options and colors. I have to place it at volume of 90% though versus my previous Hatch at just 60%. The beach waves on the Dreamegg is different from the one in Hatch so we use the waterfall, it sounds just like the Hatch. I also like that it displays the time. would recommend it though because it does help my 3 year old fall asleep fast. It's also the same size as the Hatch

IM A VERY PICKY SOUND MACHINE MOM. And this impressed me. Ok this sound machine is what I was looking for. I have been using the hatch for about 4 years because it’s what I was gifted and of course, it was great and I had high standards when looking for an alternative. I needed a new one when I had to leave mine at home when traveling away for the summer. I ordered first the Easysleep one that’s sold on Amazon because it had TONS of reviews and it REALLY disappointed me so I returned it. (One of the minuses) It doesn’t have the scheduled sleep option (which hatch has and I was looking for that). PLUS the easysleep had this weird light and didn’t turn off, so frustrating. To put it short, The dreamegg has the schedule option plus TONS of amazing functions and sounds. I’m just very impressed. It’s like the older hatch version, but even better (in my opinion). GET IT, you won’t regret it.
